SCOTTY’S BACKFLOW WHY IS BACKFLOW TESTING SO IMPORTANT ? Spring Startups are also known as Summerizing, Water Sprinkler Turn-On, In ground Sprinkler Start Up and Sprinkler System Set Up. Whatever you call it, at the beginning of every Spring, your garden irrigation and lawn sprinkler system must be properly turned on and set up for the coming season. North Idaho and Washington weather will determine the best time for a spring sprinkler turn-ons and varies year to year, but anytime from the end of March right through May is usually the time to have your lawn and garden irrigation system activated. Scotty’s Backflow will turn on your water, turn on your sprinklers, check your controller, check your sprinkler heads, check your pipes and valves and assist you with your sprinkler schedule. Sprinkler Start-Up and Backflow testing services now require authorization for repairs up to $200 be done on site during initial visit. All repairs over $200 will be quoted and rescheduled for later in the season. All backflow assemblies will incur additional testing if initial test fails.
